Making Virginia Beach the Free Entertainment Capital of the East Coast

Each and every summer the Virginia Beach resort transforms into Beachstreet USA, where even the sidewalk is a stage! Performances of all kinds are presented under the stars right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Virginia Beach oceanfront. The heart and soul of this unique outdoor entertainment celebration is between 17th and 25th Streets on Atlantic Avenue. You’ll find music for those who like a “little bit country” and those who prefer a “little bit rock and roll!” There’s something for everyone at Beachstreet USA!

Over 100 performers make Beachstreet USA their home during the summer months. Entertainment varies widely from percussion groups and vocal ensembles to puppets, swing trios, magicians, and fireworks! Beachstreet USA also has its own marching band, the Beachstreet All-Star Band, made up of the best high school musicians from Virginia Beach public schools.

The entertainment even spills over into the parks at 17th, 24th and 31st Streets as bands play on “Salsa” and “Blues” theme nights. Catch the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra, outdoor movie nights for families, and full-scale magic shows offered throughout the summer. And best of all, practically everything is free! Beachstreet USA is dynamic, wrapping its audience in the lights, sounds, sights, and motion of an entertainment experience fit for any budget!
