Lewes
The First Town in the First State. It's a wonderful place to discover. The town's most notable attraction remains the Zwaanendael Museum built in 1931 "a careful adaptation" of Hoorn, Holland's town hall reminiscent of Dutch pioneers who first chose to settle here. The appeal to this town is timeless with its history, architecture, great little nooks, shops, eateries and waterways. A stroll around this enchanting district is enjoyable in every season!
