If you are looking for a scenic cruise, join us for our daily Dolphin Adventure! Watch as sharks and dolphins feed off the by-catch from local shrimp boats as they pull in their nets. Everyone looks for some adventure on summer vacation and Capt. John's Adventures professional staff will guide you through the waterways as you enjoy a day of fishing or kayaking even learning to surf. Our kayak tours explore the National Estuarine Research Reserve, an 8,000-acre Saltmarsh alive with marine life, birds, wildlife and history. No summer vacation is complete without doing a little fishing, and Capt. John loves to take Mom, Dad, and the kids out for some hands on fishing along the waterways where you can experience the fell of a Redfish, Trout or Flounder tugging on your line. Madfish Charters offers a great variety of services expertly run by Captain Freddy Simpson. A native to the area, this captain knows where and when the fish are hitting. Freddy can guide your adventure along artificial reefs offshore, targeting Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, Kings, Blue Fish, Sea Bass and more. Inshore, Madfish Charters can take you exploring the tidal creeks and waterways focusing on Red Drum, Flounder, Speckled Trout and other seasonal varieties. In addition, Captain Freddy can help you customize a day on the water for the whole family to enjoy. Barrier island exploration, clamming, and shell picking are among the options available at an hourly rate for groups of up to 6. All bait, tackle and equipment are provided. Boxed lunches are available for an additional fee.
